The China Working Group hosted a business engagement event on Tuesday 26th November with a collection of private sector businesses from across the Leeds City Region to discuss the opportunities, barriers and scope for trading with, and in, China. High profile business representatives shared their experiences and expertise for future commercial engagement ahead of an upcoming January trade trade tour.
Following the success of hosting the Chinese Olympic Team in 2012, the China Working Group was established to support the growth of international trade and inward investment in the Leeds City Region. The working group is currently composed of representatives working in the city to develop successful trade with China: LCC, Leeds & Partners, Leeds Metropolitan University, China Britain Business Council, University of Leeds, the Local Enterprise and Partnership and UKTI.
