Over the Christmas period, Leeds’ partner city of Brno in the Czech Republic has been teaching its young people about how Christmas is celebrated across Europe. Brno’s partner cities from across Europe sent over details of Christmas traditions, typical Christmas food and decorations. Children from Brno were invited to participate in workshops where they could find out more about different European Christmas traditions from the UK, Hungary, Germany, Austria, Lithuania, France and Poland.
