Leeds and Hangzhou have been partner cities since 1989.
The partners’ aims are to develop mutually beneficial relations and co-operate in the interests of local businesses, young people, education and technological advancement.
The relationship has been strengthened over the years with regular trade missions, university links and school partnership as well as links in:
